where can I find the "chart menu"

I am trying to make a pie chart, the office asistant told me I need to go to
the "chart menu" however I can not find that.
 
In case of Word 2003: Insert > Picture > Chart.

In case of Word 2007: Insert tab > Illustrations group > Chart.
