Excel Can a pie of pie chart use animation/transitions?

I am creating a pie of pie chart and would like to make the "pie" of the pie chart animated so that it can be pulled out from the main pie and then reinserted back into the main pie. Does anyone know how to do this in either power point or excel?

After reading your query....I made a pie chart in excel....then i copied it to a power point slide ...then I went to Animation options....there is an option "Wipe" and sub option "by category"....this is the closest thing matching what I understood from your query....
