microsoft instuction
Insert your Windows XP CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive and
browse to the Valueadd\MSFT\Net\NetBEUI folder.
Copy Nbf.sys to the %SYSTEMROOT%\System32\Drivers
directory.
Copy Netnbf.inf to the %SYSTEMROOT%\Inf hidden directory.

Hi

%systemroot% refers to the Windows folder. Start>Run - then type in" %systemroot%\system32\drivers" - without the quotes.

%Systemroot% is a general 'pointer' name that on a particular machine
refers to the folder where Windows is. So *usually* , but not
necessarily, C:\Windows and you want C:\Windows\system32\drivers

Or a general solution to resolving these: type 'set' into a CMD window,
and you'll get a list of all these ('environment variables') spat out.
Can be handy for discovering where the system thinks your windows
system, and user profile, and suchlike live (especially if you are in
the position of having multiple instances).
