Where are the contacts stored?

Can somebody tell me in which file does windows mail store the contacts?
 
Each contact is it's own file and the file is encrypted it seems. Search for
"name.contact".

It would have been helpful if you had stated where you found
that contacts folder. The contacts used by Windows Mail are under
C:\Users\username\Contacts
