Where are my sent items going

I have just started using Microsoft outlook after using
another e-mail program, and when I send or forward an
e-mail they are not going into my sent folder. Where are
the darn things going??? Can someone help please
 
They may not be going anywhere if you don't have that feature turned on.
Check Tools...Options...Preferences...Email Options..."Save copies of
messages in Sent Items folder".
