where are my downloads?

Hi
For a couple of weeks I have had a problem downloading programs off of web
site's.
Every thing looks ok and I see the download progress indicator advance but
when the download is complete and I tell it to run nothing happens and when
I search for the download by name it does not show anywhere.
any help would be appreciated.

If you click open the default place it saves downloads is the temp folder.
That is a hidden folder. You have to make all folders visible to see it. It
is located in,
C:\Documents and Settings\your name\Local Settings\Temp

PS I specified that the file be saved in "download" folder and why wont
the download work when I specifie run in the request rather than save ?
