Keith

I need to get all my saved emails and folders they are
saved in off my old drive and put them into my new drive
in outlook. What directory/folder are they stored in.
I took my old C drive and put it in a new computer and now
it is the D drive. All my files are still as is from when
it was the C drive. I was using Outlook Express on the
old system. The import/export will not find the files.
Thank you for your help.

Outlook and Outlook Express are completely different and unrelated programs.
If you were using Outlook Express before, you can only import that
information into Outlook Express on another partition. Once you do, you can
then import directly from OE into Outlook.

So your question is an Outlook Express question. This is a group to support
Outlook from the Office group of programs. Outlook Express is a part of
Internet Explorer and is a quite different program despite its similar
name..

You will probably get a faster and more expert answer if you post this to an
outlook express news group.

Try posting in one of these newsgroups:
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie5.outlookexpress for OE 5.x
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie55.outlookexpress for OE 5.5x
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress for OE 6.x

A good website for information on OE is:

Your OE files were/are stored in your old profile directory, way down deep
under local settings. Do a search for *.dbx, making sure to search
hidden/system folders. You may have to take ownership of the
folder/subfolder/files to reset permissions.

Note:

microsoft.public.internet.outlookexpress.mac for OE for Macintosh

If those groups aren't carried on the news server that's carrying this group
try using msnews.microsoft.com (MS's public news server that's the source
for all the microsoft.public newsgroups).
