Whenever I CC myself, Outlook never delivers it. Help?

Whenever I send an email through Outlook and I CC myself, the message doesn't
deliver. I know it's been sent because it appears in the web-based email
(Gmail) I'm POP downloading from. But for some reason Outlook doesn't. Help?

If you're using gmail, it won't tell Outlook that messages you send to
yourself from the same gmail address are new so that it known they are
available for downloading. Gmail figures since you sent the message, you must
know what it says already.
