When will there be more Ultimate Extras?

Why have there not been any new Etras for months now?

The last ones (the only ones) that I have gotten since I installed Vista
Ultimate on 03/15/08 have been Dreamscene and Poker.

When will Microsoft be posting more? Or is a lost cause like the old Active
Desktop was?

The "extra" is the extra money that MS has made conning you into buying
Vista. Oh, and Texas Hold 'Em isn't poker. It's a TV show.

I have no idea, and I doubt very much whether anyone else here does.
It's up to Microsoft as to whether or when they do.

I think a client Hypervisor would make a great Ultimate Extra. Unfortunately
I can't use it yet as I don't have a CPU with vt. Later this year or early
next year I plan on getting the new 8 core, 16 thread platform from Intel
(or maybe just the 4 core 8 thread). Using Virtual PC with the limitations
that it only supports one core is going to start to look silly when
computers begin to have many cores.

Archivist,

In my opinion, it is indeed a lost cause. I don't think Microsoft has
any intention of releasing any more Ultimate Extras.
I may be incorrect but I think Microsoft may be facing a class action
lawsuit sometime in the near future regarding this issue. Microsoft made
promises to the buying public concerning the Ultimate Extras. Microsoft did
not fulfill its promises. It's as simple as that.

I think your expectations from Ultimate Extras is wildly unrealistic when
you consider that they are just a marketing draw for ensuring sales of
Ultimate Edition to those enthusiasts did not really want the advanced
networking, NTFS permissions, user groups etc. - but just wanted 'the best
one'. The sort of people that actually bought the Plus! packs previously.
