When using permissions - FP asks for IE

Where is the setting for FP to use IE to change passwords? I have cleaned out
all cache for fp2003 and temp files, verified that the .htm, .html, shtm,
shtml extensions are set to IE, and still get this message.... TIA
 
I'm not sure what you're asking.
IE doesn't manage passwords used by FP to administer your webs.
That is a server function not a FrontPage function.

IE only "maintains" passwords when opening a password protected site in IE.
