When uploading Word document do changes get uploaded?

I need to upload a word document to a site as part of an application. The
word document shows all the edits in red. Do these edits also get uploaded
and if so how can I send a clean copy?

Sounds like you had the Track Changes feature enabled when you
were editing your document. Clicking on the Track Changes button
on the Reviewing toolbar will enable or disable that feature. To
get rid of the changes that were tracked while the feature was
enabled, you must click on the "Accept All Changes in Document"
command on the Reviewing toolbar. See
