System starts to shutdown then you hear a click and it reboots, this does not
happen every time but about 1 out of 5 times at least.
After xp comes backup it reports an error to Microsoft and says possibly
caused by a device driver no information available at present on this problem.
I have updated the Graphics card driver and all other drivers.
My graphics card is ASUS ATI AX700-pro, My system board is Asus P5wd2 premium
with 3.2 Ghz Dual core CPU and 1GB ram, Hard drives are Western Digital
Raptor as system and wd 2500ks X 2 as data drives.
I have reinstalled windows 3 times and running out of patience.
I have had one or two crashes when switching between aplications mostly
graphic apps or video editing apps.

Yes ATI drivers are Certified.
I am only presuming this may be caused by a screen driver but may also be
caused by another driver.
I also sometimes get a report on bootup: Runtime error Point32.exe abnormal
program termination, then mouse features fo missing, but am using the same
mouse and drivers on another machine without errors.
another error in event viewer is:The following boot-start or system-start
driver(s) failed to load:
asuskbnt
:and:
Windows saved user LENSTUDY\Lenny registry while an application or service
was still using the registry during log off. The memory used by the user's
registry has not been freed. The registry will be unloaded when it is no
longer in use.
