General system info
Win XP Pr
Network Printer defined under windows, connecting using direct IP to the printer
Printer configuration under windows sets the default tray as manual feed
When I print a test page the printer prompts to insert letter in manual feed tray
I have shred this printer on the workstation, and mapped it as LPT3
The program I am printing from does not print through windows print services for performance reasons. When I print from this program I can see that the print job appears in the windows print queue, and then is printed from tray 3, not the manual feed tray. I went back to the queue and printed another test page and again the printer prompted to insert letter in the manual feed tray
Why is it that the print jobs from my software, which is printing to LPT3 not using the correct paper tray?
