When os was installed...

I know that this really is not the group for this question but anyway.

I got my hands on to a old win95 machine. The user of the computer asked me
when the OS was installed. Does anyone know how to find out how old a
computer is or when the os was installed?

Hi

have you checked the timestamp on the Windows Folder. This may show when the OS was installed. To find out how old the machine is you may need to open the box and look for manufacturers date labels on the components
