I am running Windows XP Professional, Office XP Professional. I will be
setting up 2 additional PC's on Peer to Peer Ethernet 10/100 Network, but
have only one PC at this time. I use 56k dial up modem to connect to
Internet at this time.

Do I need to install IIS services? Would it benefit me to do so?

I just received the Windows SP2 CD in mail, but have not loaded it yet.

I don't know, do you? You are the only one who knows. It's a web server.

IIS is a web server, FTP server, etc. In XP Professional, it's limited to
10 concurrent incoming connections, so it's not a production-level server.

If you don't need any of that, don't install it.

IIS is the web server. If you're not doing web server
software development then you don't need to install IIS.

IIS is used to host websites and i am sure that u dont wanna do that in your
3>>4 computer network fo just forget it
