When I uninstall a program

It will no leave my add and remove files window,
Hi I have recently uninstalled some programs that I no
longer use but after rebooting and restoring my computer,
the programs still show up in my add/delete programs
file, and if I click on the item again it will say cant
find the unistall program...DUH I eased it , please help
me figure out how to get rid of the names ...Thanks

It is because you restored your computer after erasing the programs...the
links that are in the remove section of control panel are replaced when the
system is restored.

delete the no longer installed names.
