We have a Windows 2000 server. When I open the Event Log, it says the
"System Log is corrupt".

What should I do?

Boot the Recovery Console and delete it:

DELETE c:\Winnt\System32\Config\SysEvent.EVT

When you restart, it will be recreated.

Thanks for the reply.

I cleared the system Log from Event Viewer and it is fine now.(got this
suggestion from the microsoft site when I did a search for the problem.)
