when i start up the computer it says: boot from cd

boot from cd on start up

how do i get ride of this? i recently got my puter back from the shop and had to reformat the puter.

not sure how to get the puter to start up without the message: boot from cd!

any ideas?
 
Check your computer's system BIOS settings - they probably changed the boot
order in there. For help with this, you'll need to contact the hw mfr.

take the OS install CD out of the CD drive ....
 
As others have mentioned, usually you just need to remove the CD from the
drive. However, there is another possible issue: When you remove the CD from
the drive, does the system not boot at all? If so, then you need to run
fixboot from the Recovery Console.

First learn that this isn't a chat room. Good grammar and proper
capitalization makes a post much more readable.

Second, you have a computer. Like I said, this isn't chat room. Save
all the lower case garbage and word shortcuts for your IM buddies.

I was trying to figure out how you were going to reformat a golf club
until I realized you weren't just spelling putter wrong.
