I'm using PowerPoint 2003 with Vista. When I select an object, especially
connector lines, the object moves. This is really annoying, especially with
connectors as it breaks the links. I have also experienced the same issue
when converting Visio objects into PowerPoint.

Is there a way to turn off this feature?

Thank you for your help.

Echo S - you are a total star. Thank you. There is no way I would have
found this solution without your input.

Thank you.

This should fix it:

Office shapes move or duplicate themselves when I click them (VISTA)

Oh, I know -- this is one I always have to look up myself! (I had to look it
up just a couple of weeks ago for a new computer, as a matter of fact. And I
have to tell my students how to find it fairly often, too.) Every time, I'm
very grateful to Shawn for finding the solution in the first place!

Anyway, I'm babbling now. :) I'm glad to know this resolved it for you.
