can't get four-head arrow to select an object

I made a table to make 6 copies of an invitation using clip art and text
boxes. I need to move 1 clip art. I can't get the four-head arrow.

The problem may be that when I composed my first table cell I had 2 object
that were close to the text box. I clicked Order and moved each to the back.
After I completed the cells I have 1 of the 2 objects in the first cell that
I need to move or the corner will not print. When I move my mouse over
either of these objects I can't get the four-head arrow. I can get the
four-head arrow for all of the other objects.

Is there anything I can do to select this object to move it? I really don't
want to have to redo the whole sheet. Please help.

I'm using PowerPoint 2002

Select anything > press tab repeatedly until what you want is selected and
use the arrow keys to move it.

John,

It worked. Thank you very, very much. I also found out that on the 2
objects I did not get the four-headed arrow. To get it, after trial and
error I found that right click only worked on the rotate handle. I then
clicked on Order and Bring to Front. Then I could move the clip art.

Echo,

Thank you. I now have multiples on my toolbar.

Tab is way useful for getting to buried objects on slides.

I also like Select Multiple. See

explanation of what it is and how it works.
