When I print emails, attachments don't show

I sent an email with attachments. I want to print this email to place in my
customer file showing I sent the attachments. Upon printing, it does not show
any attachments were sent. Is there a way to accomplish this?

Thanks -

Change your email format from rich text to either plain text or HTML. That
should do the trick for you!

If you are using HTML, then I am mistaken and you should use rich text
format. One of the email formats places the icon of the attachment in the
body of the email so that when you print the email, it shows the attachment.

However, rich text format has inherent issues with sending to people who
don't use Outlook because rich text is specific to Outlook. Non-Outlook email
doesn't read rich text very well at all. It may also cause issues with
attachments that YOU send out, your recipients may not receive them.

I have tried putting my email formats in all 3 and they still won't show when
printed, any other ideas?
