All I can assume from the scant content of your post is that the doc was
created using MacWord (2004) and you are attempting to open it in some
version of WinWord... beyond that I haven't a clue
Please provide some descriptive detail about:
1- what version of Word you're using to open the file
2- what you mean by "boxes" - text boxes, box-shaped characters, other?
3- how did you get the file from Mac to PC (if indeed that's what you've
done)?
Someone can most likely help out, but you have to help first - nobody here
has any way of seeing over your shoulder. We can only go by the completeness
and accuracy of your post.
