when i move my mouse over a window it switches to that windo how do i stop it
from doing that?

Right somewhere on the desk top and then select personalize. In the bottom
left select "Ease of Access". Go down to " Make the mouse easer to use".
Make sure "Activate a window by hovering over it with the mouse" is not
checked.
