When i insert cd in to my cd-rom (lg-52x) it automatically restart

When i insert cd in to my cd-rom (lg-52x) it automatically restarts.
Please .Please help..... os winxp,celeron.

First, try checking the power supply. They're relatively cheap if you need a
new one.
