When I have Microsoft Outllook 2003 open it sproradically will op.

A duplicate copy of outlook opens. The icon on my task bar is different for
the second copy. It looks like the stack of envelopes you see in the top
right hand corner of the inbox window. Can't find any pattern as to when the
duplicate opens or what is triggering this. Any ideas?

you are opening a second copy, either you are clicking on the icon too many
times or opened a second window by right clicking on a folder and choosing
"open in new window" then not closing it before exiting outlook.
