When I download my incoming email it disappears without trace

Outlook 2003: I created folders so as to organize incoming email. However,
all my email is downloading and then disappearing without trace - it's not
going into the folders, nor is it staying in the In-tray (I tried reversing
the 'rule' for some contacts; it didn't work). Has anyone any idea where my
email's going, and how I can find it?

I'd really appreciate someone's help. Thanks. Jamie

Check your view of the folder. Make sure it is "All Messages"
