Hi,
I am facing a problem in instaling the windows xp on my IBM Think
Center Machine. When I boot the CD from CD ROM the Monitor goes black
but when i boot using windows 2000 CD it works and Install the Windows
properly. What should be the problem. Can any body help me to resolve
this.

My only conclusion would be that the Windows XP cd is damaged, try a
different one.

I have tried this. I burn new CD but the problem remains the same.

How are you burning those cds? You have to extract and burn the boot
image file to the cd if you want it to boot properly, or you have to use
burner software that knows how to do it for you. If the computer can
properly boot a Windows 2000 cd there is not reason why it should not be
able to boot a Windows XP cd. If you really cannot get around the
problem you can use a set of setup floppy diskette to start the Windows
XP installation.
