When I archive

When I archive, I go to "File/Archive..." then I select the folder I want to
Archive, "Archive this folder and all subfolders" is selected also "include
items with "Do not AutoArchive" checked" is selected as well. Then I click
ok, and under my Archive shows the folder but it's empty! Why my e-mails are
not on my archive, but only the folder?
