First of all
http://hahtala.com is not a disc based web, it's a server based web (running the FP SE under what appears to be a
Windows Server so ASP should be supported
Secondly never open a local IIS server based web (in your C:\Inetpub) as a disc based web, or FP may no longer see it as a server
based web
Always open it in FP as
http://localhost or
http://machinename
Check that you have FP set as the default editor (Open as Html option) for .asp pages in Tools Options Configure Editors

| Hi Steve,
|
| I noticed strange phenomenon that might help to track the problem.
|
| I have one disc based web and opened an ASP page with Windows File
| explorer (File -> Edit). Then the views were available.
|
| But when I opened the page using FrontPage the views were gone again.
| Strange?
|
| To illustrate this and for example web based Frontpage web I made few
| screenshots. Please see:
http://hahtala.com/fp/
|
| Any ideas how to fix this problem?
|
| Many thanks,
|
| Simo
