I only replied to let you know that some people don't have problems with the
SP 4.
The "overwhelming flood" you are speaking about is because people come here
to figure out how to fix problems. If they don't have a problem with SP 4
they are not going to post requesting help now are they? Count all the posts
that are NOT about SP 4.
The "overwhelming flood" you are speaking about would probably figure out to
a small number of users if you consider just how many computer in the world
are getting SP 4 applied just fine.
Perhaps you should reply to all those people and tell
them exactly what they did wrong and how to fix it?
Why would I do that? I did not have *any* problems. If I ran into problems
and solved them then I would post a reply to someone that had the same
problem.
I have seen MS pull patches from their site when there is way too many
problems with it. SP 4 is still there.
I guess you ONLY want replies slamming the SP. Sorry I can't help you.
