What's the purpose of the WORKSSETUP folder? Can I delete it?

I'm running XP Home on a new laptop which came preloaded with both
Office (trial) and Works. I uninstalled Office through Add/Remove,
but still have Works installed (but haven't run it yet).

It looks like the C:\Workssetup folder is just copies of the
install stuff. There's a separate folder for Works in Program
Files.

Can I delete this Workssetup folder without compromising anything?

You should post to the Works newsgroup. This newsgroup is for questions
about the XP OS. Specify what version of works.
microsoft.public.works.win
