Hi,

I downloaded a couple of extensions to Firefox. The files have an .xpi
suffix. For some reason they won't launch when opened. What are these things
and what do I do about them?

Thanks

Wouldn't you rather ask a question about Firefox in a newsgroup for Firefox?

These are the installation files for the extensions. If you have downloaded
them to a folder, open Firefox, then select Open File, find the .xpi files
and open them one by one. A warning should appear, you select 'Yes' and
install the files in Firefox.

Most extensions require a restart after installation.
