What's an ASP.NET account?

And why do I have one?

When I installed WinXP on this machine some months ago, for some reason I
found it started with an "Owner" account in addition to the one under my
name on the log-in screen, both being administrator accounts. No idea why,
but it didn't bother me so I left it, until today when I deleted it through
Control Panel - User Accounts.

While in the User Accounts window, I found two others, a Guest account (off,
and I guess the purpose of that is obvious) and an ASP.NET Machine A...
account (limited account, password protected) which apparently is active.
What on earth is the ASP.NET account? And why is it there? It's not
something I ever installed intentionally.
