I currently use Access 97 and want to upgrade because of losing support.
What year can I upgrade to without hurdles? Or do I have to go from one year
to the next with out skipping upgrades?

I'd go straight to 2003, if you can get it. 2007 is RADICALLY different in the
user interface - it's up to you if you want to jump to it; in any case I'd
download the free time-limited trial and check it out first.

Personnaly I would say 2003. It is similar enough to 97 that you should not
have to hard a time to get up to speed.

As for 2007, MS has tried to reinvent to wheel. The look and feel have
completly changed. This would required much more effort on your behalf to
get up to speed, but is never the less the newest generation, thus will be
supported for the longest.

Also, 2003 is well documented and supported with lots of online info... 2007
is new that info is limited.

Just my 2 cents worth.
