what the hell is my IMAP user name and password?

Every time i try to enter my windows mail this stupid user window pops up and
when i type in my user name it goes into error mode.what the heck? WHY?
PPLEASE HELP ME!!!!!
 
Gladly, please post the entire error message you get so we maybe can
determine what the problem is.
