You need to borrow a screen for a day or two so that
you can set up the problem machine as a host for
Remote Desktop (if it runs WinXP Professional) or
for WinVNC (if it's WinXP Home). You then need
to connect the two machines with a cross-over CAT5
network cable.

Post again if you need further instructions.

You can't. Such a cable doesn't exuist as both notebook VGA ports are output devices.

Get an external monitor, fix the notebook display or use Remote Control software over IP.

Why ask HERE? What does this have to do, in any way, with XP?
NOTHING. It is purely hardware related.

Ask elsewhere

Why post HERE? Your answer has nothing to do with helping people. NOTHING.

Post elsewhere.
