what is Window HPHotfix?

Hi, I looked in add remove programs and found about 30 of
these, all with different numbers after Hotfix...like
WindowHPHotfix KB821557.Some said (See Q316397 for more
information)after Hotfix.I rarely go into add remove so I
don't know how long they have been there.Thanks, margaret

These are the critical updates (mostly security-oriented) that
you've been downloading all along. Do not remove these, or you
will put back the security exposures they were designed to fix.
You can however delete their backup files. See
