I currently have Front Page 2002 and I am working on a
project that requires the use of layers. As far as I can
tell, 2002 does not work with layers but 2003 does. If I
am wrong here, someone please let me know! If this is
correct, what is the process of upgrading to 2003 - I
surely don't have to go and buy the entire software
pacgage again, do I?

Front Page 2003 does include Layers. You may purchase an
upgrade version of the Front Page software which requires
you have a previous version of the software either on
your PC or a CD in your possession.

The upgrade is roughly one half the price of the full
version.

You can use FP2002 with layers, but you have to code them yourself
with no help from FrontPage.

Ron:

I would suspect you could code layers using Notepad as
well couldn't you?

Yes. Any text editor can be used. Layers are built from HTML and CSS, and
HTML and CSS are text.

Yes you need to buy the new version! You can get the "upgrade" or "full"
version.
