What is the normal size of the Windows folder for XP Pro?

Mine is over 2 gigs. Is this normal? If not, what can I do to slim it down
other than the usual temp file removal and the usual program uninstall?

Thanks

Didn't you post this question a day or two ago? Someone did, and I
answered it.

My \windows folder is almost 4Gb on a 32Gb drive. No big problem.

Most programs install themselves in the \Program Files folder so you
wouldn't be gaining space in the \Windows folder by removing things. (My
\Program Files folder is almost 9Gb; still no big problem.)

Sounds like you really need a new harddrive. I've seen 250Gb drives for
$129.

Hi,

It's normal. On one of my machines it measures 3.27GB, some of that due to
$NtUninstall$ folders that I haven't deleted yet.
