How does one go about finding out what speed (e.g. 100 or 133) RAM does a
motherboard take? THANX N ADVANCE, The Rookie/Wayne B.

Look in the motherboard manual. If you don't have the manual most
manufacturers have a web site where it can be downloaded.

I have a Toshiba Satelite notebook with XP 5.1 vers (svc pack 2) and has USB
1.0 ports, suddenly no devices are being recognized anymore. I have
uninstalled the USB from device manager and reinstalled (on reboot) but still
none of my USB devices (floppy drive, printer) that were working being
recognized before are being recognized.

Help!!!!!!!!!!!

Download and run EVEREST free from www.lavalys.com It will
report on the make, model and serial number of the mobo. It
will also provide a link to the maker so you can download a
copy of the mobo manual.

Your RAM runs at a speed set by the BIOS.

Look in your motherboard manual, or look at the memory already being used.
