Greetings ATI NG,
I recently bought a used ATI X850 Pro AGP. The former owner of this card
also included a CD that he labled "ATI Software". Other than containing the
most recent drivers for the X850 Pro, there was also program simply called:
mmc-9-1-0-0-dao-mdac.exe.
Any ideas what this program is used for, in relation to the X850 Pro?

TIA,
Paul

It's a prerequisite module for MMC, DAO is "data access object", part of
the database system used in MMC for storing the [TV show] programming
database. It needs to be installed before MMC. In some later
implmentations it's part of the MMC download instead of a separate file.
