Hi
How can I determine what is hogging 100% of my CPU. It appears that
"System" is the problem. I assume that System includes device drivers
and the like. This problem begins at login, and is persistent over
reboots.
TaskManager shows the following info:
Processes Tab
Image Name: System
User Name:
CPU: 93-98% (never lower)
Mem Usage: 220 K
Performance Tab
CPU usage is 100% and if I show Kernel times it appears that the CPU
is being used by the Kernel (or Kernel mode process).
The other processes on the machine appear to be well behaved.
Is there a tool that lets me see what is happening inside the System
process that is shown in Task Manager?
