I have absoultely no idea what in the heck has happened to my outlook
express!!!

I have HP pavilion, running Windows XP2, with NO PROBLEMS since it was
installed
I get up today, check e-mail no problem, go do a few things, waiting on an
Improtant e-mail, go back to check e-mail (I run on constant basis,
winpatrol, microsft antivirus ) and at the time was running limewire, I tried
to open OE and all of a sudden my password box pops up, (for the last 7
months I did'nt have enter password) now it asks me for it, so I look on my
password sheet, enter password, and the box pops back up. after several times
of this, I call my ISP, they verify that I am trying to enter the correct
password, but still no luck. I got frustrated with the tech, he kept putting
me on hold, I figured I'd just come here.
ANY IDEAS?? HOW CAN I GET IT BACK??

1) First of all, Limewire is well known for delivering dangerous stuff to
your machine (spyware, etc). Get rid of it. Period. End of story. Or, you
can read this and try what's mentioned:
http://www.mp3newswire.net/stories/2002/cleanlimewire.html

2) Having used Norton or McAfee antivirus for years with good results, I
didn't bother activating Microsoft's antivirus thing when I installed SP2.
Frankly, I have no idea how it works or even if it's intended as a
replacement for NAV or McAfee. You need to read your instructions, and fast.
AND....when did you actually pay money so that you would continue getting
virus updates for the product??? If you don't remember doing it, you are not
protected. If antivirus software is downloaded on a Tuesday, it's probably
out of date by Wednesday.

3) Go here: http://securitytango.com/ Follow every single procedure you
see, even if it takes you all weekend.

4) Call back your ISP and find out how to change your password. There's
probably a way to do it from their web site, but not always.
