What happens after 31 December...?

Hi,

Does anyone know whats going to happen with MS AntiSpyware
after 31 December, when the beta release expires?

Will it be extended again?
Will there be a cost involved in using it?
Will there be a corporate and personal version released?
Will there be the standard discounts for charities etc?

We are an IT Support company and have been trialling it at
some of our clients. We would like to plan for their long
term development and need make decisions on whether to
continue using MS AntiSpyware or look at other corporate
products.

Actually there are no such information available now..

Will it be extended again?

Probably not, because we can expect the Beta 2 revision before the end of
this year. However, it is only a guess.

Will there be a cost involved in using it?

The cost depends on the version used - for home users of licensed Windows it
will be for free, corporate (manageable) version will be provided at some
cost.

Will there be a corporate and personal version released?
Yes.


Will there be the standard discounts for charities etc?

Noone knows the prices today, so it's hard to say.
