What happened to the default view in Outlook 2003

In all previous versions, there was a view that showed me the shortcuts, folders, e-mail inbox, messages, calendar and task listing. Please don't suggest Outlook today as it shows me the calendar of events upcoming and the task listing but only shows the mail folder not the contents of the e-mail inbox folder.
Also in previous versions I could have shortcuts to web sites and other folders on the shortcut pane. This pane has disappeared and it is several clicks to the shortcuts window.
I hope that I'm just missing how to get these features back.

At the bottom of the Navigation Pane (pane on the left) you will see some
buttons and a double arrow. Click that double error to add the buttons that
you want. Is this what you were looking for?

Thanks Megan for your reponse. This just adds the folder to the Navigation pane, it doesn't allow me to have the inbox, calendars, and task listings all together in one windows as panes as it did in the previous versions of Outlook. It was called the default Inbox view in previous versions.

I am looking in Outlook 2000 right now and I can't find the default inbox
view that you are referring to.

Perhaps you're thinking of the Outlook Today view? That's still available when you click on the folder at the top of the hierarchy where the Inbox appears.
