What happened to our old mail in our hotmail addy?

had a lot of important things saved in my hotmail account. Please let me

The situation behind your message isn't clear. What old mail?

Did you delete mail from the server, or use a mail client set to download
mail and delete from the inbox (this is normally the default setting)?

Generally mail deleted from the server is gone. You might try contacting
Hotmail support, which is not *here*, but I would not expect extraction from
backups to be free.
