I made a site from a template in FrontPage 2000 and want to change the layout
of it. I cannot see anywhere where it says any table widths or anything.
There is not much I can do to it? Why is that, or is it hidden and cannot be
accessed? Not very user firendly!

Right Click within the table...select Table Properties...same for Cells.
Can't get much friendlier than that.

But you will have to update each individual page with any layout changes, as the template function
FP version prior to FP2003 are only available when creating new pages.

Thank you for your post Thomas. That was the only helpful tip I got. Thanks
again for your help.

I tried that. I right click on the page, and it gives me page properties,
not TABLE properties.. Nowhere is there any information about tables or
widths or heights, etc I guess I will have to hand code it, and I will
probably tear it down and reassemble it in my HTML Editor I always use that I
have no problems with at all..
Thanks anyways....

That's a correct suggestion for FP2003 - is that what you have?

I just double checked with my FP2000, indeed what Thomas said is correct you
will not have the option to set Table Properties as a default...BUT you do
have the option to adjust the Table Properties on a page by page (or rather
a table by table) basis.

You have to put your cursor within the already created Table to get Table
Properties- then you can set what you want...same thing for cells.

If you are using the same table on many pages you could create a blank page
with just the Table set as you want...then keep doing a Save As after you
put info into the cells. Similar to creating a .tem page of your own.
