What DVD making software works with MM2

P

Pam

I made a wonderful movie for my mother's birthday from old
snapshots and her favorite songs. I didn't realize it
wouldn't play anywhere but my computer. I can't find
Sonic MY DVD Plus 4 locally and wondered if any other
software was compatable with MM2 movies? One that looks
like it might be is Roxio My CD & DVD Creator. I hear
Pennicla Studio 8.4 is great, but I don't know if it will
work with scanned pictures and imported audio from MM2
file. I will appreciate any help.

Thanks,

Pam

They all work if you save the movie as DV-AVI.

Pinnacle Studio 8.4 is fabulous. If it works. But it is also a replacement
for Movie Maker.

Ulead DVD Movie Factory is less fabulous but has worked more often for me.

After you save the movie to AVI, you can also use TMPGEnc to convert the AVI
file to MPEG and then use TMPGEnc DVD Author to build the the DVD menu and
create the DVD image. Once you have the DVD image files, you can burn the
DVD using DVD Author (as of the latest version, but I haven't tested it), or
I use Nero to burn the DVD.

i can't get mm2 to work on my dvd either. i switched to
studio 8.4 and downloaded onto that, then burned using
nero 5 cd burner. the cdr now plays on any dvd in my
house. i tried to import from mm2 to studio 8.4 but it
won't do it for me so you will have to start from
scratch. i did manage to get the Nero 5 to read the mm2
cdr but it comes up with lots of error messages you have
to keep cancelling off. these are just moaning about the
file not being suitable for supervidio so you can ignor
them. open Nero5 from task bar by clicking Nero Express,
don't use the icon it's a nightmare. click vidio pictures
then vidio cd, from their onwards just click next, next,
next. if you are importing from studio 8.4 open Nero
express, click add then go to my docs and scroll down to
pinnacle studio and click it, then its the vidio pictures
etc.
