how to burn a DVD with Roxio?

Sheryl B.

I have Roxio Easy CD & DVD Creator 6.
I have a very poor quality MM2 movie which I have
converted to avi file to improve quality. Now my 37 min
movie won't fit on DVD due to size of avi file. Have
been advised to import avi file to Roxio to convert to
mpeg2 for DVD. Does anyone out there know how to do
that? I've been trying for 2 weeks to get this DVD at
better quality. Any help appreciated!

First, you can't "improve the quality" of a movie that has been compressed
with a "lossy" type of compression or that was saved originally in a size
that won't properly fill the screen. That said, have you attempted to look
at your "improved" AVI file to see if it actually is better quality?

Do you have the original video, prior to making the "very poor quality MM2
movie?" If so, use that video file to create the DVD from in Roxio ECD/DVD

Sorry I can't be of more help.
