My PC originally came with Windows XP and a Pioneer DVD-ROM DVD-116 (per
device MGR)
I never loaded a DVD ROM disk on the drive. It always worked OK with
standard CDs.

I later changed my OS to W2K (SP4) & just today, first time, I loaded a DVD
disk on the drive. The W2K system advises it requires a DVD decoder.

I have already checked some web sites but I have been unable so far to
determine what software maker(s) and product(s) will prove compatible with
W2K and my DVD drive. (Yes, I did check Pioneer online but had no luck with
their knowledge base or download site)

I would greatly appreciate suggestions. Thanks.
